I find great joy in meeting all the families that come to me for photos. I have met some truly remarkable people. The common thread, aside from having dogs, is the compassion and love that is evident within the family. And I honestly believe it’s having a dog that brings everyone together. A dog has a way of being a mediator, a friend, a buddy to hang out with and is usually pretty amazing at cheering you up at the end of a tough day. Being a part of family seems to be what makes them feel complete and gives them a purpose.

Whatever family dynamic you have, it’s a special one because of who you chose to be in it. Telling your story through photographs is one of the best ways to preserve these fleeting moments of your family’s life today.
